This past weekend my friends and I headed down the coast of Italy for a well-deserved beach vacation. And what better place to go to for a beach vacation than the Amalfi Coast?! Despite the fact that its officially fall and technically no longer bikini season, we still broke out our swimsuits and spent the weekend jumping off boats, relaxing in the sand, and enjoying our time in the sun. The first part of our weekend was spent in the gorgeous island of Capri. This was my second time visiting the island and I must say it gets better every time you go. The weather was truly on our side with the sun shining at 70 degrees. The only time it got cloudy was midway through our boat tour but only for a short amount of time. We spent the first part of the day exploring the island. I highly recommend starting off going all the way to the top of the island and working your way down each town. Capri offers some lovely views of the coast and each town is absolutely adorable. We also went on a boat tour around the island and stopped to swim for a bit. Capri is one of my favorite places in Italy and I am so happy I was given the opportunity to go back. So, today I’m sharing with you some of my favorite shots from our day in Capri!
I decided to take advantage of the warm coastal weather and wear one of my favorite summer dresses one last time. Towards the end of the summer I started to get back into the shift dress trend. For years I always gravitated towards shift dresses, but after a while I decided to mix things up a bit and branch out with other styles. But now I find myself back on the trend and I can’t remember why I stopped loving shift dresses so much. The one I’m wearing is from Brandy Melville. It’s very lightweight and comfortable. I absolutely love the striped pattern and the style of this dress. Since I knew I was going to be walking a lot and also swimming so I decided to stick with my trusty Birkenstocks. With the sun beaming down on us all day, I pretty much never took my Erika Ray Ban sunglasses off. Out of all of my sunglasses, these ones are without a doubt my favorite. I have very sensitive eyes so I love how these glasses are more on the dark side. The shape of them is perfect and the tortoise shell color goes with pretty much every look.
That’s all for today’s post! I’d like to give a huge shout out to Smart Trip for giving me this opportunity to travel with them!
