Out of all of the places I have traveled to, the Amalfi Coast is my absolute favorite. From the beautiful cliffside buildings to the crystal clear blue water to the incredible beaches, the Amalfi Coast is nothing short of paradise. You’ve without a doubt seen pictures of this beach all over instagram, pinterest, pretty much every social media network. I feel like it should be a crime to not go to Positano when visiting Italy. If you love relaxing in the sand, crystal clear blue water, and beautiful landscape then Positano is the place for you (and I mean who doesn’t love all of those things??). I am so incredibly lucky to have gotten the opportunity to go back to my absolute favorite place on earth. Though I was only there for one short day, I definitely made the most of my time. My day started off relaxing on the beach. Since it was very very windy that day my friends and I decided to skip out on another boating excursion and just hang out on land instead.
Of course you can’t go to the beach in Italy without stopping for some amazing seafood pasta! For lunch my friends and I went to La Cambusa, a cute little restaurant that has incredible seafood and offers amazing views of the water. My favorite dish is hands down linguine alle vongole. Nothing is better than hanging out with friends, eating good food, and drinking good wine (especially if you’re hanging out in the Amalfi Coast!!). After lunch we walked around, did a bit of shopping, and just took the time to get to see the whole town. While the beach is amazing, you should definitely take the time to walk around all of the shops in Positano. There are amazing pottery stores and linen clothing in the Amalfi Coast. The area is also famous for its lemons so everything is either decorated with lemons, smells like lemons, or has lemons in it!
That’s all for today’s post! Only less than a week left until I depart on my two week long trip across Europe! I am so so so excited to share with you all of the places I go to, what I did there, where I ate, what I wore, etc. Be sure to subscribe with your email and follow my instagram account @jessmiele for post notifications!
