Finally back home and it feels so good! Words can’t explain how much I’ve missed GRB, Maine lobster rolls, and summer strolls past the oh so adorable houses of Kennebunkport. Last week, I said goodbye to my summer internship at the Vineyard Vines headquarters and waved hello to my final staycation in Maine before I head off to school in three weeks. Kyle and I spent our first day back in KPT strolling around the town and taking in all the familiar sights. The weather wasn’t looking so great (about 1,000 degrees, 200% humidity, and on and off downpours all day) we spent the day off the beach and on the town.
As mentioned in my last post (linked here! go check out my partnership with S’well!!) I have been obsessing over J. Crew. Call it a phase, call it a match made in heaven, but I am in love with everything they have out right now. I of course picked up these navy and white espadrilles and woven bag solely because they match. I wanted my outfit to focus around the pop of navy, so I wore my new white high waisted shorts. I’ve been on the prowl for a good pair of white shorts. I typically wear Levis shorts, but I like to buy those at the Levi store since they always have a wider range and more sizes in stock. However, I found this pair off shorts at J. Crew in Boston the other day and, much to my shock, they had my size (I swear to god everyone is a size 26, they never have it in stock!). My white peplum sweater is from Madewell, another classic of mine. To add a break from the all white, I tossed on my favorite Levis oversized denim jacket (similar here). The final touch, my absolute favorite sunglasses from Warby Parker.
That’s all for today’s OOTD! As always, thanks for reading and be sure to keep up with me here and on my Instagram @jessmiele.
